My Idiot Brother

Overall I like the movie. It's obviously not a movie for youngsters. But there are tons of funny parts. The actors all do a great job. While there is one major problem that I didn't like, they end up playing off of it very well. The part I didn't like is that one of the siblings is a lesbian. Now yes there are a few other things I like. The movie is almost like a based on a true story kind of deal. With things that happen in life.

Over all it was a b+

The Priest's Graveyard

By Ted Dekker

This is a pretty good book. It was almost a little dry for me but then something on every page would bring me back in!

It's a story of two people, Renee and Danny. Danny an immigrant and Renee a junkie. Their lives are miles apart but when they finally come together it is fascinating. The climax of the book was great. I started to get a little upset with it and the way the ending was going, but Ted Dekker managed to make it fit together perfectly!

Not to mention the few twists he throws in there. Like usual there are no curse words. But I will say this is definitely an Adult Fiction. There is some gore but nothing compared to a few movies out there.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif

I know this came out a while ago but here is your review!

I really liked this movie! But there were a few things I would have changed. But that's just me. The director, Chris Columbus, did a great job with keeping all of the stories of the 'gods' right. Well most of them.

Even though it's rated PG I think that even the big kids can enjoy it. ;)

There is a little bit of violence and a few graphic images that aren't good for little kids. The cast is full of some really good names.

This is truly a really good movie!

There are a few cuss words and only one F-word. The rating is PG13, so ages 12 and up would really enjoy this. Not to mention that there are a few twists that you will love.

Now there is a bit of violence and like I said a few cuss words. But Jake Gyllenhaal does another great job as a main character.

Wagon Wheel Country Cafe

This is a really great place. It's a seat yourself and the decor is just great!
Wagon Wheel Country Cafe offers a breakfast menu served until 11am. The prices for all the food seems really good. The quality of the food is really good, so it is worth it. The waitresses are really nice, we had Maddy for our server and she was great! Now Josh's analysis of the sweet tea is that it is a bit week and a bit sweet, but he likes his tea dark as coffee so that is really up to you!

We ordered the all you can eat spaghetti for $8.95 . It they do come out on FULL plates with slices of garlic toast, and you get a side salad.

The side salad was great! I am picky about Ranch dressing and this was the most perfect salad I have had in a while! (By the way we saw another table who had ordered a salad for an entree, not sure which kind, but they looked amazing.)

Josh insisted I get a picture of the salt and pepper shaker!
All you can eat spaghetti

I thought I was going to out eat Joshua, but the pasta got the better of me!

Over all I give them a 9 out of 10!

Thia Ta Ra

There is a small restaurant in the on the "corner" of 71 and Robinson. It's connected to a dinky looking hotel.

My rating on the Pad Thai is 5star! The Basil Chicken, not so much. Now if you ad a little bit of the sweet and sour sauce, it is really really great! They also serve you a lemon soup with every lunch special and it is very good. I am a pepper lover so adding a few dashes of pepper makes it even better!

Now this isn't the best dish to decided to share unless you're both anemic. But for a single person to eat it is the perfect amount of food!

I have honestly not had a lot from there, but the Pad Thai (#1 on the lunch special menu) is amazing!

Bachelorette Season Ashley

So I just saw Mondays episode. Yes I know I'm a little late, but hey I saw it!

(By the way I am so sorry I have NOT blogged in forever!)

Um, that was a little Failtastic of Ashley wasn't it?? Is she attracted to slummy guys?? Or was he totally paid to be that way? I mean honestly is there really a man out there that shallow?

No wonder he is divorced and sorry but if I was his ex-wife he probably would not get to see his daughter very often...if he really has a daughter.

It was nice to see the host, Chris Harrison, try to help her see that Brentley was not a good man. It really made me think that the show isn't has scripted as I thought.

And William.... William William William. Seriously? You had better be counting your lucky stars that you didn't go home.
